    field settings different for subtotals

Hello. I have sales in the values section of a pivottable and I selected average. However for the subtotals (yearly values) I want to take the sum of the averages. How can I do this?

    Hi Amma,

Assuming you have Name in column A, Date in column B, Value in Column C.

So when you make the pivot, You simply need to have "Date" in Row filed and drag "Value" column twice in Value field of pivot. Where one you can keep as Average & second you can have sum.
