Index, Match with 2 criteria

I am having an issue with the following formula.

It will work with either single creteria but not both. I can't seem to find out why?

	


















	
=INDEX(DailyFoodLogTBL[Menu Item],MATCH($B3&D$2,DailyFoodLogTBL[Date]&DailyFoodLogTBL[Meal],0))


 

Column "B" contains dates and Row "2" contains the meal type 'Meal'.
