Need help with column search

I have a column say 0,0,1,0,0,0,2,0,0,3,0,0,0,0,4 say in A1: A16 need to search A1 and place in A2:A16 1,1,1,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,4,4 I have tried many things and all have failed It seems it should be simple but can't find a solution. I hope someone can and will help Thanks

This is really hard to follow... You have a column A1:A16 and in this same colum you want to plate other values? I'm not sure I understand

Welcome to the forum.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
