How to find specific text in a column and insert corresponding value

Hi,
I need to search for part of firm name in a very long list of full names and find and insert its corresponding numeric ID in a separate column.

For instance, in the attached example, I need to search for each "part name" (column D) in the list given in B and, if the part is found, insert its corresponding ID from A into a cell in E that corresponds to the search text.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
