Hi All,

I have just noticed that if I create a hyperlink in Excel pointing to a PDF file hosted on our intranet, Excel will fail to open it with the error; "Unable to open 'File location and file name'. Cannot open the specified file"

I have tested the http file-path link in multiple browsers, I have created a shortcut using the same http file-path link to the file and they all work perfect. normally the pdf opens within the browser and not in a pdf viewer.

I am using Office 2010
I have the latest version of adobe reader and acrobat installed
My account is local computer admin and domain admin

has anyone seen this issue before, any known fix or work around?
