Find and Replace Window

Is there a way to permanently fix the find and replace window so it comes up as a ribbon, for instance, at the bottom or top of the page instead of randomly over the very information being searched?

Hi, welcome to the forum

That window can be moved, just click-hold and drag it
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Yes, but I was hoping there was a way to position it permanently or the top or bottom in a ribbon (ribbon - I mean a narrow window that is sometimes seen when using Control F in other applications and only the word Find is displayed and a space after the word Find to type in what you're looking for.) I find I'm dragging it all over the place as I search thru documents.

Not possible to bind - new term to me. Bind is a good word. I understand that.
What is this about codes? VBA?
