    Very slow spreadsheet

    Hi All,

I had a 9MB spreadsheet which was being a bit slow when saving, opening and trying to search for things in the spreadsheet, so I tried to find out what to do to make it quicker. I read I should clear the formats of all rows and columns not in use (hidden). After I had done this the spreadsheet increased in size to c.90MB and is now slower than ever!

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Re: Very slow spreadsheet

Remove conditional formatting if any, remove format of unnused cells, limit ranges in formula (i.e. SUM(A1:A100) instad of SUM(A:A))...

For other things we should see it.
Never use Merged Cells in Excel
