consolidate address list

Hi there,

I have a .csv file showing every person in my area in a list with their address. This will be used for a door-2-door delivery campaign.

I must create a new version of this list showing only unique addresses. i.e. instead of unique individuals at their addresses I want to change the list to show addresses only.

Can anyone tell me what the steps would be to achieve this.

My data is laid out thusly:

F G H I J K
Surname Firstname Postcode First Address Second Address Postcode

Does above make sense after the board has removed the formatting or should I maybe post a picture instead? It looked good before I pressed the 'post' button.

Should have the 'before' and 'after' examples there.

Your after example is containing a duplicate (last two). Select the entire data, use DATA → REMOVE DUPLICATES → USE columns ADDRESS 1 , ADDRESS 2 AND ADDRESS 3. Make sure to use "my Data has headers".

The after example shouldn't have had a duplicate. I just made a mistake.

So the advice you're giving for 'REMOVE DUPLICATES' works to achieve what I'm asking as per initial post?

Yes it should work. Make sure you only select "address" column when you do the "REMOVE DUPLICATES" action.
