If I have two spreadsheets open that are in the same version of Excel, only one Excel button shows up in my taskbar, which interferes with workflow. I'd like to have a separate Excel button for each open spreadsheet. Here's what I've tried:
1. Right clicking on taskbar / properties / taskbar / "never combine" taskbar buttons (this used to work, but it doesn't anymore)
2. Right clicking on taskbar / properties / taskbar / " Use Aero peek" is unchecked
3. Excel options / Advanced / "Show all windows in taskbar" is checked
Nothing seems to work. I have to go to Excel / view / switch windows / select the file to swap between spreadsheets, which is a painful process for someone who works with spreadsheets all day long. Help?
