How to check stock levels using a CSV?

Hello,

I hope someone can help me or steer me in the right direction.

I have an eBay store with about 750 items listed from a particular supplier. All these listed items have a Custom Label which is the SKU number.

Each day I download a CSV file with the SKU in one column and the Quantity on the other from my supplier. I also download the active stock from my eBay store as an Excel spread sheet each day which has the SKU and other info in the columns.

What I would like to do is have the current stock in a spread sheet and then import the supplier's CSV file and have it show what SKU is less than 5 for example, highlighted or listed in a new page.

For example;

Item in stock (SKU)..................................................Stock list
abc001......................................................................5
abc002.....................................................................10
abc003......................................................................0
abc004......................................................................0
abc005.....................................................................15

I would like the items that are 0 highlighted or opened up in a new page.

Thank you for any help in this area,

Mike

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook. The workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
