I need to change the color of certain cells in a workbook, but the cell color remains gray regardless of what fill color I choose. I thought perhaps it was a style setting for a table, so I made sure to convert the table to columns, but I still can't change the cell color. Does anyone know what is causing this (Excel 2007)?
I don't know off-hand why this would happen, if I had a sample of the spread I could troubleshoot it for you.

Thanks for the offer Tommy Bailey; attached is the sample spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet contains conditional formatting rules that control the colour of the cells.
Go to Home/Conditional Formatting/ Manage Rules.
You can choose which rules to delete.
