Hi all,
I wondering of someone can help me with my excel dilemma.
My knowledge of excel is very limited and the use of Macro's and scripts is even less so I'd appreciate a little help in the right direction from someone with a little patience if possible.....
My issue is a simple one.. Firstly I have a master sheet with all the required info on. This needs to be separated onto different sheets by copying all rows that have the same duplicating value in column A (in my existing excel the sheets are already created so could be copied onto them or if its easier the process would self create new sheets relating to the value/range being copied). In a little more detail, I mean if column A contained 10 x AAA's, 3 x BBB's and 5 x CCC's with other details all in separate rows, it would end up.... Sheet1 being named AAA or copied to the existing AAA sheet and would contain the 10 AAA's from the master sheet and copy the entire row thats with the cell/range being copied, Sheet2 named BBB along with other data in the row, Sheet3 named CCC etc.
As far as I'm aware there are no need for any formulas. I just wanted a little help on the easiest way to go about it, and was wondering if using a Macro or Script to Automate the process was the way to go..
My first post so apologies if I haven't made any sense and please ask questions to clear this mud up...
cheers,
S.
