Trying to create a 3-month rolling calendar to track employee absences

    Hello,

I need to create a spreadsheet that will track employee absences on a rolling 3 month calendar.

The policy is that disciplinary action must be taken if more than 32 hrs (4 days; this can be tracked by either hours or days but ideally I'd like to be able to see both in case somebody takes a half-day or leaves early due to illness) in a 90-day period.

I'm comfortable using functions and creating pivots, etc. I just have no idea how to go about this so that the calendar is a rolling one and not just x-date to y-date.

    thank you!!!

    Hi mobod,

You can use =today() formula and for the rest of days you can use =cell-1. Let us assume that you are inserting =today() formula in cell A1, you can use =a1-1 in rest of the cells. By this everyday it will change the date and rest of the cells will calculate the date accordingly to show 90 days.

You can use this trick in your calendar. For your reference I have attached a file with an example.

Note : This will take your PC timings
