    Using IF function over two cells.

    Hi

    I am wondering if it's possible to use if formula to identify any of of two cells contain YES

    My spreadspread has cells F9 and F11 populated with an if formula to bring back YES or NO

    I would like to use a formula in F12 to tell me if either F9 or F11 contain YES

    Try using OR like this

    =IF(OR(F9="Yes",F11="Yes"),"Yes","No")

    Try =if(or(f9="yes",f11="yes"),"yes","no") in f12.

    EDIT: that's what I get for taking so long typing it on a tablet

    Welshsparkles3, Good afternoon.

    Try to use:

    F12 --> =IF(OR(F9="yes",F11="yes"),"YES","NO")

    Is this what you want?
    I hope it helps.
