What will each sheet contain- This sounds like a very inefficient workbook and we may have other ideas for you to avoid both large files and complex managing-

    Re: date formatting

your request is very vague. when you open a spreadsheet it usually defaults to three worksheets (sheet1, sheet2 and sheet3). Are you talking about getting each day of the month on all three sheets of a workbook or are you simply wanting the dates on one sheet of the three? You do know that if you put the date 1/1/2014 in cell A1 of sheet1 and then 1/2/2014 then drag down it will pick up the sequence and you'll have all the dates with very little work? If you want the same across the three worksheets then before doing that, click on the other two sheets while holding down the shift key, then type 1/1 then 1/2 and drag down and it'll be on all three sheets. If you want something else you might want to better define your request.
