I am a novice here and need help please!


i have a sheet called "case log" and i want to make another sheet called "case log for users" in where users can view the same exact stuff as on "case log" and they can also use the filters, an an example would be employee "Joe" can select his name from the existing filter and see his open cases. The reason for this is that the employees will be able to view these sheets from a main computer in the office and i dont want them to mess up whats on "case Log" but i want them to be able to view it and use the filters.

So, my idea is to make a mirror image of "case log" and call it "case log for users" and i will protect the "case log" sheet but allow access to "case log for users"

I dont know if it matters, but if it is a mirror image i am afraid that changes made on "case log for users" will show up on "case log" I want it to work one way only.

Is this possible and how?
