Do you just want a count of the total number of days worked, or broken out by time? Also, does this need to be continuous?...or do you just need a count?

Thanks for your response.
Do you just want a count of the total number of days worked, or broken out by time?
Broken out by time.
For instance:
employee timings:
Abhilash Pazhamkulangara 1/11/2014 7:58
Abhilash Pazhamkulangara 1/11/2014 13:00
Abhilash Pazhamkulangara 1/11/2014 13:59
Abhilash Pazhamkulangara 1/11/2014 17:01
i need to calculate the total timings for that particular day.
I used this formula
=SUMPRODUCT(--(C:C=C2),--(D:D=D2),K:K)
but it only sum up all the values.
![]()
So you want the total time elapsed for that particular day? As in for your example, would the result be 1 (as in that is one attendance day), or would it be 9:03, or the number of hours spent there?
Yes, it should be 9:03 or 9.05 (total number of hours spent).

Hopefully last question; can you have helper columns?
yes if it requires.
