do a little homework

First Lookup 'How to password Protect worksheets'

Then Lookup 'How to use Pivot Tables'

If you set your sheet up correctly. A table of data, Dates, amounts, names and other identifiers as individual records, you can make a Pivot table out of it in which will give you totals and allow you to rip apart without needing to understand the underlying formulas so much.
