    Multiple outcomes

    Hi All,

I currently have a formula that carries out a calculation on one number and gives the final answer below.

I need to enter several different figures and note the outcoming answer.

Is it possible to carry out a way of finding the answer without having to manually change the input and noting the outcome for each number

    Re: Multiple outcomes

you could create a list and using a combo box refer a formula to the value you pick from the dropdown list to calculate the different value. Is that something like you want?

    Re: Multiple outcomes

You can list all the numbers.
Then relatively refer those numbers ( cells ) in your formula and Drag down the formula.
This way, you can get the results for all possible inputs.

    Re: Multiple outcomes

Hi, I have had a look at you sheet and I think what would work best for you is to move the formula into each output cell in column G. This will calculate the result for each source cell and give all output values. Have a look, I have revised your sample sheet to demonstrate. JimBobBowie

    Re: Multiple outcomes

Thanks for getting back, is there still a way of doing this without entering the formula in the cell?
