Embeded Items Moving after Saving

I have some embeded items (text boxes - I believe) and whenever I save the spreadsheet - the boxes move out o0f position. Usually they move upward to varying degrees. I have tried to protect the sheet - this does nothing. Does anyone have any ideas how i can stop this movement????

If you're using ActiveX controls...I found them to exhibit unpredictable behavior (moving, resizing). Consequently, I stopped using them years ago.

I'm afraid I know nothing about ActiveX Controls...........I don't think I am using them. I created an object (a complex text box I think with mathmatical symbols, etc.) in a third party program and embeded them as objects in the spreadsheet. They move upward when the spreadsheet is saved and re-opened...........
