If Formula to skip down if criteria is not met

    Hi,

I'm building a IF formula which looks at a date in (sheet 2 F8) and if it matches whats in the (Lookup sheet $P$7) I would want the formula to show what is in (Sheet2 A8) If the date doesnt match what is in (Lookupsheet $P$7) I need it to go down to the next cell and do the same for example.

I hope I examplined it properly, this is the forumula I started I just need the last part fixing.

=if(month(Sheet2F8=Lookup$P$7,Sheet2F1,"I need the formula to go to the next row down if it is false)

    Thanks

Re: If Formula to skip down if criteria is not met

    Hi Fortis,

Thanks for looking into this for me, I hope the attached makes it more clear.

In sheet1 is where I want the formulas, I want to be able to drag it across all columns to fill in the rest of the data.
In sheet2 is the data table I want the formula to pull from
and In Lookup is todays month.

What I want the formula to do, is to look at the date in sheet1 B2 if this is in the same month as the date in Sheet2 B2 then I want it to show what is in sheet2 B2 if its not the same I want it to go down to B3 and check if the date matches, If it does I want it to return the data.

The trouble I'm having is that when the dates dont match its leaving blanks in sheet1 I just want it to values if it meets the critera.

I have put the formula I'm trying to use hopefully this might make it more clear.

    Thanks

Yes. Now is clear. So in A9 and copy down and across use this ARRAY formula.

    Not just Enter.
