Format Currency

I am trying to format the columns on my worksheet as currency but the numbers are imported as general when I try just using the currency it changes 8700 t0 $8700.00. I need the result to be $87.00. I have a total of 15 columns that need this same formatting. RBR EXAMPLE.xlsx

Hi lornaerland,

Looks like all you need to do is Format Cells

Highlight desired cells to convert to currency --> Right Click & Select Format Cells -- Go to Numbers Tab & Select Currency

Add or remove cents if desired

Formatting won't change the actual value of the cells.
Try this:
• Put 0.01 in a cell
• Copy that cell
• Select the range of cells you want impacted/converted
• Home.Paste.PasteSpecial...Check: Multiply...Click: OK
THEN format those values as currency.
