This is probably dead easy and I'm just being a bit dim
I've searched the forum posts and can't find quite the same request.
I've used the Copy / Paste Link function to copy all the data from one (source data) worksheet to another (copy data) worksheet within the same workbook, so that I can manipulate it in the copy data sheet but still reflect any data updates when they are made in the source data sheet.
Using this feature the source data is copied across perfectly, but none of the formatting is taken from the source sheet...just boring old data.....!
So a couple of questions:
1. How do I get the formatting to also copy across and update the new sheet? i.e. when a cell in the source sheet is highlighted I also want it highlighted in the copy sheet. or if the font is changed in the source sheet I also want that reflected in the copy sheet.
2. Also, I need the rows and columns in the worksheet to be increased/decreased in the copy data sheet where they change in the source data sheet.
Is this do-able in simple Excel land or does it require a complicated macro type thingy?!![]()
