How we make Electricity Bill?

Hi Friends,

Today i am new guy of this great community i want submit a question about Electricity bill hope i will get solution.

Look Condition.
1-If >0 and <50 Rate Units:2$
2-if > 51 and <150 Rate units:4$
3-if >151 and <300 Rate Units:6$
4-if <300 Rate units:10$

Which our Teacher explain with us Formula but i am totally confused because this formula not working yet.

=IF(D1<=50,D1*2,IF(D1<=150,100+(D1-50)*4,IF(D1<=300,100+400+(D1-150)*6,IF(D1>303,100+400+900+(D1-300)*10))))

When using longer strings of IF statements I have found it is sometimes useful to break the formula to it component IF statements (your formula has 4 IF statements). That way it is simpler to find where the error is occurring because the incorrect IF will not be mixed up with all the others.
Also, it is helpful to have an example of what the formula should produce, for example what should a power reading of 51, 151 and 301 cost?

Hi Mate,

0 to 50 cost per unit is 2$
51 to 150 cost per unit is 4$
151 to 300 cost per unit is 6$

and If our units go out of 300 then per unit rate is 10$ but main problem is now i am new in excel if you can solve in excel and submit in reply i will download and will learn about it easy ..
