Talking Conditional Formatting - Icon Sets

Hi There,

At first it seemed to be easy but I am unable to get the required results.

I am trying to compare a data set with the help of Conditional Formatting Icon Sets (arrows to be specific).

I have attached a spreadsheet with example data. Column A consists of the Item Name. Column B and C have a yearly figures.

I want to compare Column C with Column B using Arrow Icon Sets reflecting only in Column C.

I gave it multiple tries but excel does not let me remove the $ signs. Any help would be appreciated. Also if you can share if this can be done if I have multiple years lined up. :D

Need to know exactly what you are trying to illustrate with the conditional formatting?

Re: Conditional Formatting - Icon Sets

Im not sure you can do this with icon sets

They are meant to compare 1 value against the range that value is part of. Have you considered using just colors for this?
Something like
=C2>B2 format fill green
The repeat that for =C2<B2 fiormat fill RED and =C2=B2 format fill blue
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
