Why is this very simple Index-Match not working. I am doing something much more complex and even testing this as a VERY simple formula it is not working...
=INDEX(A24:B27,MATCH(A31,A24:A27,0)
=index(a24:b27,match(a31,a24:a27,0))

Sorry, the extra paranthesis was already in there.
Could the type of file matter. Even a VLOOKUP will not work...
What is in A31? are they the same type in your range a24:a27? they should be both numbers or text type.
are there leading/trailing spaces?

Add a column number (or post a workbook)
=INDEX(A24:B27,MATCH(A31,A24:A27,0),2)
May be check out for formula calculation set it for automatic
