Red face configuration o Add-in: highlight the row and column you are entering data

    Hello Excel power users

Is there any way, configuration or Add-in that helps highlighting the row and the column in which you are entering the data ?

Of course, there is a small highlight in the row and column number, but working with big sheets full of data, it will be much more appreciated a short of top-to-bottom, and left-to-right line or highlight all across the sheet

    thanks in advance,
    pGrnd

I don't think the configuration is modifiable and I don't know of any add-in's that do this (but maybe)

Here is code but it has some drawbacks. For example,
it clears cell fills when you choose a different cell so if you had a fill in there originally, you'll lose it.
    See attachment
    the code is

which goes in the sheet module.

    thanks for the response,

I thought about that indeed, but there is no option, as the sheep contains a lot (and I mean a lot) of fixed formatting and conditional formatting, even borders are configured to look nice (most on white, but not all equally configured)

I may be able to play with bolding, is the only formatting that is not so extensively used that I aware of. But is is far from useful (done some trials)

    Maybe with some lines ?
    not sure
