I set B22 to equal C14 but I need to format B22 to display "Interest" instead of the value.
I set B22 to equal C14 but I need to format B22 to display "Interest" instead of the value.
What is the data currently in C14
It's 40000
Custom format B22 as ;;;"Interest" to show the text Interest in B22 not 40000.
Is this what you are trying to achieve?

Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to.
Respect is earned NOT given.
If 40000 is the value that you want to prompt the display of "Interest", use this in cell B22:

Yes!Where do I find Custom format? I have been looking everywhere.. conditional formatting.. format cell... etc.
I did it! Thank you Sktneer!
Right click on B22 --> From the pop up menu select Format Cells --> From Category select Custom --> In the box below Type (you will see General by default) --> Type ;;;"Interest" in the box --> OK.
Does this help?
OK that sounds good. Glad I could help.
Moreover you may also click on * (star) to Add Reputation if the solution provided helped you. This is another way to say thanks.![]()
