Hi there....at my job I have to organize some gala dinners and I have o follow the order or precedence in order to plan seating arrangements at the table.
Is there a formula to use? I want the names to appear on collumns D and G.

This copy of your workbook seems to do it.
Edit: A passing thought.....if you want the guest ## around the table to disappear you can either hide those columns or change the font to white or whatever matches the background color...but don't delete them. They are part of the formula.
