    Question Monthly Tmesheet - Sum-Find-Between 2 Dates-&-2 Tables

    Hi,

This question is partially associated with my original question, stated within: Nest / Combine 2 Sumproduct Functions from 2 Different Tables post, but now a new question or variation to it has been added

I attached a Similar To example of my Monthly Timesheet:

I'm creating a monthly timesheet & have a list of projects below time timesheet - Cells: D60:D69.

Starting at Cell: J60 - Downward - Using the following function, which finds / matches various projects from the 2 above tables & sums up cumulative totals, using:

    =IF($C$12="","",SUMPRODUCT(--($C$12:$C$17=C60),--($T$12:$T$17)))--IF($C$22="","",SUMPRODUCT(--($C$22:$C$36=C60),--($T$22:$T$36)))
    (Provided by: ben_hensel)

Now, through Cells, D60 though H69, seeking to use similar intent or function as above, except to find cumulative total hours per specified projects & during specified dates as stated through Cells, D57 through H58 between the 2 tables (1st Half of Month & 2nd Half of Month)

    Please see attached example

    Thanks

    Re: Monthly Tmesheet - Sum-Find-Between 2 Dates-&-2 Tables

    Hi,

    Perhaps, this will help clarify....

If looking at, Project 1 - XXXXX, I have the following:

    Cumulative Totals
1st Half of Month Charges: 7 Hours
2nd Half of Month Charges: 22 Hours
Total: 29 Hours Cumulative Hours Charged for the month as of current date

Now, if I want to break this down per week - Monday through Sunday work week & start with:

08/11/14 - In this scenario, this is my start date
08/17/14 - Sunday or Week Ending Work Week

I would have a total of 7 hours, which would be the given result with formula seeking in Cell F60

What do you suggest to make this compiled table work (Table below timesheet or labeled, Charged Project Hours Breakdown)

    Thanks

    Hi Group,

Will 2 Sumproduct functions nested / combined work? Please see attached file (given in previous submittal) & intents.

    If so, how?

    Thanks

    Hi Group,

Who has a suggestion or two? I can get the sum product to work well for 1 table but not for both tables. It's probably something simple, but I'm missing something to find Project within both tables, & sum up between specified weeks.

    I appreciate any assistance.

    Thanks

    Re: Monthly Tmesheet - Sum-Find-Between 2 Dates-&-2 Tables

    Hi,

    Can anyone assist?

I wish to insert a date or find between date restriction in to the following function:

    =IF($C$12="","",SUMPRODUCT(--($C$12:$C$17=C60),--($T$12:$T$17)))--IF($C$22="","",SUMPRODUCT(--($C$22:$C$36=C60),--($T$22:$T$36)))

Please see attached table & modified function in cell D60

    Thanks
