Auto-populating one sheet with results from a drop down on another sheet

I am still a beginner so this might be too much for me to comprehend but I'm going to try....

Simplified, I have a 3 columns (Timestamp, Number Sold, Color). Color is the dropdown and has multiple options (say... White, Yellow, Black). On another sheet, call it "Light Colors" I want all of the White and Yellow to auto-populate with their respective columns. Another sheet could have "Dark Colors" and pull the black data.

Sounds simple but I don't even know where to start.

for replying with attachment click on "Go Advanced" (in the bottom right)

in next page click on "Add File" (at right top side)

The attachment is very generic but the first sheet should be the only one with actual inputs. As far as the second sheet, it should only populate a row that has a sale (greater than 0). Last, assume only one color was sold per hour (so the "Light Color" sheet is really just a list of white and yellow sales with their corresponding timestamp).
