linking tabs without losing formatting

Hi guys,

Is there a way of linking tabs without losing formatting in Office 2010? I don't want to do simple copy/paste as I want a Sheet A pull information from SheetB where data changes but I want to retain the formatting in on sheet A.

I guess I should have specified that the sheets are in two different workbooks and I'm linking entire tabs not simply group of cells.
