Transpose multiple columns into a table

    Hi,

I have an problem transposing multiple columns into a table.
Source data is organized in 3 columns - ID, Visit#, Date. What I need is a seet in which I'd have in Column A - and ID, in Row 1 a Visit type and Visit date would be populated in the table. See attached file.
Since I'm handling about 50k datapoints a simple "paste special--->transpose" is a nightmare.
    Can you help?

    Hi,

This can be done using a Pivot Table provided there are no multiple visits on the same "Date" with the same "ID" & "Visit Name". Please take a look at the attached file see if it suits your requirement.

Please see attached file with formulas.

Is this is something you can work with?

I also use a pivot table solution, but put the clients in the columns.

    See the attached file.

    Hi,

It works but only to certain extent. Different IDs may follow different visit schedule. If Visit4 takes place before Visit3 (let's assume it makes sense) then in the Output sheet they will be listed in an incorrect order.
So what I actually need (and apologies for not stating that in the beginning) is a formula that will combine ID with a visit date and report it in a proper cell (so if ID=1 and Visit=Visit2 then Date=...).
To make matters even worse - one ID can have multiple dates associated to one Visit.
