    Re: Credit Control formulas

    HI,

    Clarification Required
    1) In any case one among of 5 will will have value
    2) The betting amount is increasing from Current to Bad Debt
    If so
    =MAX(E5:I5)
    Try this

    Re: Credit Control formulas

    Hi Punnam,

    Thanks, for your answer.
My numbers are variable twice a week I am updating them I need a permanent formula for column J, each of my companies contain numbers so if I use max function then I will get highest number instead of word such us "current" or "bad debt".

    Thanks,

    Hi

    I need more clarification
    1) if current is having value, then the rest of the columns F to I are blank ?
    =IF(E5>0,$E$3,IF(F5>0,$F$3,IF(G5>0,$G$3,IF(H5>0,$H$3,IF(I5>0,$I$3)))))

    Re: Credit Control formulas

Yes and no because it depend of the date of invoice for example new invoice will be issue then new invoice will goes to current column however if customer does not pay invoice on time the this amount goes to next column "30 Days" and if still no pay in 30 days the again that invoice goes to "60 Days" and so one so in some cases all of the column may contains number however may contain only in one column depend how customers pay

    Re: Credit Control formulas

This is a good point let me think about proper solution for it, may be take two option which means take only one column for the consideration which is column J (Bad Debt) the rest column let's call "acceptable term"?
