Date wise column Total

Hi

I have attached one file containing 2 sheets
in second sheet I am trying to calculate date wise total
but date wise date is in first sheet
#Value! error is coming
please help

Total column was for your understanding
I dont want to take referance of Total column
Once I enter date then it should make SUM of that date column
it should not fetch direct value of total cell

Because I think this is very lenthy formula
I can do the same for row sum
Just I am unable to do for column sum

INDEX(A!$F$8:$AJ$15,,MATCH(B!$G$8,A!$F$7:$AJ$7,0)) is equivalent to INDEX(A!$F$8:$AJ$15,0,MATCH(B!$G$8,A!$F$7:$AJ$7,0)). Notice the referenced array in Index i.e. A!$F$8:$AJ$15 which is a two dimensional array, that means you need to provide a row_num and col_num for Index to work properly. When you pass 0 as a row_num or leave it blank, index will return all the rows of matching col_num from the array A!$F$8:$AJ$15 inside the Sum function.

There is liitle addition for Date range
How I can make sum if I give date range
Added one more field as From Date to To Date
I needed Sum for that
