I am looking for quick help.
I have a list of 5 cells consecutively like A1,B1,C1,D1 & E1.
Now, the challenge is i should get an alert when i dont enter info in either of the cells.
for example:
In A1, i would enter client name, next cells i would enter no. of weeks, project budget, date started, tasks and comments.
So if i dont enter any of the data in all the cells i should get an alert or error for all the remaining cells.
If you want an error alert you'd need VBA. Else, try conditional formatting (CF)
In CF format 'blanks' as colour 'Red' perhaps?

Have you tried data validation using custom formula and use the conditional formula you wish to create a pop-up alert to stop entering a "" input?
Check this
1. Conditional format
2. New Rule
3. Format only cells that contain
4. Below cell value select Blanks from the list
5. Select your required format
6. Apply and save
