Hi,
I think this should work but it doesn't. Any ideas?
=AND($B4>=D$2,$C4<=D$3)
Should look like this
Excel Conditional Formatting.png
Thanks,

Hi and welcome to the forum
Please upload a sample of your workbook, not a picture of your data. Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you![]()
Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff)
Your workbook should show a small desensitized example of the data you are working with and a manual mockup of the expected results.
(and just fyi, in that pic, B, C and D are hidden anyway???)
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Thanks for responding to my post. Attached is the worksheet.
I figured I out, solved. The trick was to separate the logic out of the conditional formatting and then to use a logic function to set up the right condition in each cell. The logic function ORs 3 conditions, 1) testing for dates that Start within a workweek, 2) dates that Span the workweek, and 3) dates that End within a workweek. Attached worksheet, the first section shows the logic function without the conditional formatting, the second section shows the conditional formatting applied. Hope this helps somebody else.
