    Opening & Closing grouped rwos

    How can I allow grouped raws to open and close, while worksheet or cells are protected ?

    Protecting the worksheet locks out the use of the Outlining tools. You can achieve the same affect by hiding and unhiding rows and columns by the use of macros that would unprotect, hide or unhide the rows then immediately re-protect the worksheet. This would allow the effect that you want with the outlining feature without using that feature and lock the user out of making changes.
