    Referencing a named cell

    Hi Guys,

is there anyway in excel to reference a named cell directly for use In a formula. For example; I name cell A1 - temp and A2 - other. I then type temp cell A5. in cell B5 I want to write a formula that uses A5 to display the contents of the cell temp, and if I change the name in A5 to other, to display the contents of other. Is there anyway to do this?

    Thanks for any help
