This dose not seem to work I keep getting #REF error where the Vlookup function is. When I press Check Status in Edit links it comes up as OK But still the reference error is there until I open the source file.Originally Posted by :) Sixthsense :)
Vlookup will work with the closed workbooks.
Just press Alt+E+K and click Update Values
Then I suspect it is not Vlookup() function.
May be something like countif() or sumif() which will show results when the source file is open
