Need help exporting to .txt with no tab

Hi folks,

First of all I hope I am posting this in the right forum. Please feel free to tell me if I have posted in the wrong forum and I shall move it!

I have a bit of weird problem - I need to export a worksheet into text format with it generating tabs when I do so. There is however another caveat. The txt file I need to generate has an important number of spaces that need to remain in place throughout the export. I have set up a worksheet with fixed character limit columns that require X amount of alphanumerical characters and spaces e.g. one column needs 15 characters - 'EXAMPLE123 '. When exporting to .txt the spaces within the columns come out absolutely fine, however there is a tab between each column that throws the whole file out of kilter.

Does anyone have any solutions? A non-excel stage in the solution would be equally great!
