Multi-Workbook Project Issue

Good morning all,

I´m currently working on a multi-workbook project. Here´s the situation:

Workbooks:
1) Input workbook
2) Display workbook

I created a formula to get a dynamic list from the "Input workbook" based on different criteria; it works. I tested in the "Input Workbook".

The issue?

When I try to use the formula within the "Display Workbook" Excel gets frozen. I´m pretty sure it´s due to the big traffic between both workbooks. But I´m not 100% sure.

Any ideas?

Hi Agus and welcome to the forum,

Your CSE formula is most likely causing the delay. Array formulas are one of the most computer intensive type of calculations.
How long have you waited for the problem to finish? Have you tried this problem on a faster computer with more memory?

Perhaps you can turn calculations to manual and get closer to doing a single calculation?
