Using Tally marks in xcel

    Hey Everyone,
I would like to use tally marks in a spreed sheet, but want them to total as an actual number in a separate column. The reason for this is so that I can print the sheet, update with new tallies on paper then update my sheet. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Why not just use a blank column and use x for the tally mark? You cthen just count them (or use 1 and add them)
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
