I became a Mac user in February 2013 after using Windows systems for many years. When I set up the Mac, I transferred all of my Excel and Word files over and everything seemed fine with the exception of 1 Excel file that had unreadable gobbledygook instead of data. This what some of it looks like:

I've tried all manner of things to try and get the data back, including recovery programs, uploadable repairs etc, all to no avail. Can someone please help?
