changing names to lower case, but keeping first letters capitalized

I am looking to change a huge list of names that are all capitalized to lower case but want to keep the first letter of the first and last name capitalized..........ex. "DANA A CZMER" --> to "Dana A Czmer" . I started with chaning all to lower case and then break the names into strings to uppercase the first letters but am struggling. Does anyone have suggestions/

    Hi,

From your one example, I would be tempted to conclude that all strings to be considered consist of precisely one first name, one middle initial and one surname.

If this is not the case, could you give enough examples such that comprehensively represent all variations in your data, together with your desired results?

The PROPER function will solve this, assuming your name is in cell A1

Use a helper column with =PROPER(A1), then use Copy, paste special, values to replace the old list.
