    Excel - SUMIF/COUNTIF multiple columns

I have a table of data with 5 columns, I need a summary which involves only columns 2 to 5.

I have tried various COUNTIF/SUMIF and its driving me a little crazy at the moment. I know I am close but not quite there yet

Attached is the spreadsheet with the data sample with the result format wanted below the table

Re: Excel - SUMIF/COUNTIF multiple columns

hi there. i created 3 different solutions for you. 1 is separating the size & type in different cells to reference easily (G12:J15). 2nd is referencing to your data in A13:A15 using formulas (L13:L15) & formatting the cells to see LEFT & RIGHT (you can right click the cells to format & see the custom formatting i used. 3rd is using the pivot table (A18:D23)

Most of the times Excel offers more than one option to get your result.

    Thanks for the feedback!
