Hi there everyone
How can I set a password for my Excel file? I have tried PROTECT WORKBOOK on Review tab, but it seems complicated. Is there another easy way to password-protect my file?

You probably want protect sheet. For most purposes, just accept the default values and enter your password. It'll ask you to re-enter it in case you make a keystroke error.

Hi,
Other than Inbuilt protect workbook feature in excel, I dont think there exists any other way to protect workbook. There may be third party tools to do that but Not in MS EXCEL.

Hi,
You're looking in the wrong place.
When you use the File Save As... window you'll see a 'Tools' option next to the 'Save' button. Click on this and choose the 'General Options' then enter your password and save the file.
