saving txt files to scr files for AutoCAD use

I receive data on Excel sheets for my surveyor; I then concantinate this data to prepare for insertion into AutoCAD drawings. How and where do I save these txt files to scr files?

You can create, open and manipulate txt files through the vba code. You can read or write line by line.

For SCR I am not sure that is possible, hard to say since I do not know the file type.
