    excel version 2013 and 2007

    Hello,

I hope that someone can answer this.

I have made a file with 2013 at home,i hide sheets with vba and then unhide them with no issues in 2013 version
i am using if and isblank formula in 2013 with no problems.

But once i open the file then in 2007 version, the hiding and unhiding of sheets always errors and the formula
containing if and isblank is gone from the cells that they were in.

I can't figure this out.Is it some kind of compatiblity issue between the two versions.

There may be other differences in your installations besides just the version of Excel. There are no differences between these two versions that should cause the problem you describe. There could be many other issues, like file names, file paths, sheet names, add-ins, etc. I suggest you just attach your entire file, if it does not contain sensitive data..

You have given only a vague idea of what's going on:

You mention that "the hiding and unhiding of sheets always errors". What error do you get, and what line of code does it occur on?

"i am using if and isblank formula" and "the formula containing if and isblank is gone from the cells that they were in" No idea at all what you mean here. You need to show us the formulas.

There is no reliable way to diagnose this without seeing all of your code, preferably the entire file.

i think the formula's are gone because when the worksheet is activated it is running a sorting macro.
and i think this is messing up the formula's.
    As for the visible error.
Unable to set the visible property of the worksheet class.
