highlight overdue date

Hi,

I've used conditional formatting to highlight dates which are due this week and next week, but now I need to highlight which dates are overdue.

Each row is a task/job.
I have a 'Due Date' column.
I also have a 'Date Completed' column.

How do I highlight the overdue dates based on their due date (not today's date)?
And once I have entered a date in the 'Date Completed' column, I need the overdue highlight to be removed.

I hope this makes sense.

why not have a column that is the "status" of the task

otherwise which cell do you want highlighted?

I'm wanting to have the 'Due Date' column highlighted when the date is overdue.

I have a 'Date Completed' column which I enter the date in manually, but as this spread sheet is constantly growing, I want the to be able to view overdue tasks/jobs.
